Why CYAN

You did it exactly as taught — so why are the results different?

If even one of the points below applies to you, you'll find the answer in a CYAN ACADEMY class.

01

My results are unstable after the scabs flake off

Once you precisely understand the principles of the touch and your client's skin condition, you can produce consistent results every time.

02

My gradation doesn't look natural

The problem where it won't hold whether you go dark or light — it's solved once you know the exact working principles.

03

I don't understand how my tools and hand speed affect the work

Once you precisely understand the difference between a floating touch and a pressing touch, the quality of your work changes.

04

I keep repeating the same design every time

Master a range of expressions suited to each client's face shape, and you'll create results that move people.

05

Mixing and choosing pigments is hard for me

Prevent complaints with precise pigment science built from over 30,000 multi-ethnic procedures.

06

I get anxious the moment a client arrives

Once you truly “understand” the principles of the work, your mind settles and the work becomes fun.

About

We don't clone technique — we build your standards

Two students can take the same class and walk away with different things. Anchored in knowledge verified across 30,000+ procedures and published research, CYAN trains specialists who judge each case for themselves — not technicians who only draw as taught.

Beyond just teaching techniques — we combine scientific knowledge from research papers with over 30,000 procedures of hands-on experience to nurture each student into a specialist with their own unique style.

The CYAN Signature

Six things that shape the result.

Not a style to copy — a set of principles that travel with you to any client, any country.

Design

Face reading

Balance, bone structure, brow muscle, eye shape, intended impression — read before a single line is drawn.

Read, then design
Pigment

Universal color

Pigment read for each skin tone and undertone, so the healed color stays true across a wide range of complexions.

Every undertone
Control

Gradient building

Seamless transition from the front of the brow to the tail. Depth and dimension in every brow, not one flat tone.

Density · Layering · Pressure
Technique

Pixelated powder

Ultra-fine pixel layering instead of solid saturation, so the brow heals soft and skin-like — no harsh, drawn-on edge.

Softer healed finish
Range

Adaptable method

Built from work with clients across many countries. You learn to adjust for skin type and healing response, not lean on one fixed recipe.

Adjust, don't repeat
Outcome

Natural healed result

The aim isn't darker brows. It's brows that stay soft, elegant and natural once the healing is done.

Healed, not fresh

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

I'm learning PMU for the first time — can I enroll right away?+
Absolutely. The career-launch course is designed for beginners. You start from the basics, such as hygiene and skin theory, and the curriculum is adjusted to each student's level.
I studied at another academy — do I need to learn it again?+
Many people come to us after learning elsewhere. Reworking the principles from the ground up makes a big difference over the long term. If you already have the basics, the program centers on advanced material.
How is the class run?+
It's a small, close-knit class. The head director, CYAN, personally demonstrates and corrects. It's run flexibly to match your level and goals.
Can I still get feedback after graduation?+
Yes — for up to a year. Send photos or video of your work and the director reviews and replies personally, focusing on the things that are hard to self-check: color, depth, posture. Questions are unlimited, and the single-subject course includes two free additional live-model sessions.
Can I take the course from outside Seoul or abroad?+
Yes. Traveling classes are available — the instructor can come to you. Students currently visit from all over the world: Singapore, Malaysia, Spain, Chile, the USA, Poland and more.
Who is the head director, CYAN?+
The first Korean to teach Powder Brows at a Japanese clinic. National technical qualification as a clinical psychologist, judge at ISO international-standard PMU competitions, and National Priority Talent. Drawing on over 30,000 procedures and overseas activity in more than 7 countries, she delivers an education that combines technique with psychology.
