The Turning Point
I, too, was someone who drew by instinct
In the beginning I drew by feel, with my fingertips. Some days it came out well โ but I couldn't explain why.
Same hands, same pigment, and yet the result changed with every client. Every brow that didn't stay after healing broke me a little.
Then it hit me โ the problem wasn't my hands, it was the eye that analyzes a client's face. โWithout the fundamentals, how was I ever going to pull off the advanced work?โ
From then on, I replaced instinct with principle. Balance, bone structure, art fundamentals, the client's skin tone, pigment science, tool analysis, visits to needle factories and to machine factories overseas, the color each pigment leaves behind once healing is done, the depth that still sits safely one, three and five years later โ a way to analyze all of it and design. Add the research methodology of psychology and 30,000 clinical cases, and that became the curriculum we teach today.

I'm completely new to semi-permanent makeup โ can I enroll right away?
Of course. If you want to see it through properly from start to finish, the career-launch course is designed for exactly that โ it begins with the fundamentals, including hygiene and skin theory, and the curriculum is adjusted to your level. If you'd rather try something shorter first, you're welcome to start with a One-Day or short course.
I already trained at another academy โ is there any point in learning it again?
Many students come to us after training elsewhere. Rebuilding from the principles makes a real difference over the long run. If you already have the basics, the course is weighted toward the advanced material.
How are the classes run?
Small groups, taught closely. CYAN, the founder, demonstrates and corrects your work herself.
Can I still get feedback after I graduate?
Yes, for up to a year. Send photos or videos of your work and the founder reviews them and replies herself. There's no limit on questions, and the single-subject course includes 2 additional demos free of charge.
Can I take the course from outside Seoul, or from abroad?
Yes. Traveling classes are available, and students currently travel to us from Singapore, Malaysia, Spain, Chile, the USA and Poland, among others.
Who is CYAN, the founder?
The first Korean instructor to teach Powder Brows at Japanese clinics. National technical qualification in clinical psychology, judge at the ISO international standard PMU competition, selected as national priority talent. Over 30,000 procedures and work across more than 7 countries.
I'm only looking for powder brows training โ can I add lips or hairline?
You combine subjects. Brows split into hand powder and machine powder; on top of that you can add lip blush training, powder hairline, cover-up of old work, design, and pigment theory. The career-launch course covers brows, lips and hairline in full. Eyeliner and scalp micropigmentation (SMP) are not taught here โ we perform them as treatments only.
Can I take the lip blush training on its own?
Yes. Short courses (one, two or three days) let you take only the subject you need. Lips and powder hairline are separate subjects, so artists who already do brows often add just one.
