CYAN has performed 30,000+ procedures on profoundly different skin and faces around the world. That sheer count became the eye that chooses color and shapes form.
Holding national qualifications in clinical psychology and art therapy counseling, she brings a uniquely therapeutic approach to semi-permanent makeup, treating each session as a confidence-building experience rooted in perceptual psychology.
As the first Korean instructor to teach Powder Brow and Cover-up Brow techniques at Japanese clinics, she has shared her signature powder gradation technique with practitioners across Korea, Japan, China, and the USA.
Her philosophy of "Continuous Beauty" — enhancing one's inherent beauty to reveal each individual's radiant essence — has made her an architect of confidence for clients and students across Singapore, Malaysia, Spain, Chile, the United States, Poland, and beyond.

What is semi-permanent makeup (PMU)?
Semi-permanent makeup (PMU) places pigment into the shallow layers of the skin (near the boundary between the epidermis and dermis) to keep the shape and color of the brows, lips, and eyeliner looking their best over a long period. Unlike a tattoo, where pigment is set deep in the dermis and stays for life, PMU fades gradually over the course of 1–5 years — and in the meantime it can be refined again to suit your taste and current trends. CYAN, however, defines this craft a little differently. CYAN doesn't draw eyebrows — it designs how a face is remembered. Pigment is only a tool; what remains is the impression. That's why the standard for our results is a face that is 'not loud yet unmistakable, natural yet unforgettable.'
What qualifications does CYAN hold?
Our director is a PMU artist who holds a Korean national certification in clinical psychology and a qualification as an art-therapy counselor. She serves as an ISO international PMU judge, was the first Korean instructor to teach Powder Brows and cover-up techniques at a clinic in Japan, and was appointed a POPU ambassador in 2025. She also created Korea's first online Powder Brows course. What matters more than the number of credentials is the way they connect. Reading people through psychology, designing the impression through PMU, and passing that standard on through education form a single, continuous structure.
How many procedures has CYAN completed?
In the eight years since founding the Seoul studio in 2018, CYAN has performed more than 30,000 procedures across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. We have worked with clients of many ethnicities and skin types — in Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, China, Spain, Chile, the United States, Poland, and beyond — including complex cover-ups and corrective work. What matters more than the number is the judgment that number has built. The subtle differences in skin tone, undertone, and the way skin heals accumulate as cases, so that color choices and shape design come not from guesswork but from experience.
What is Beauty Therapy?
Behind the 'natural' that clients ask for, there is an anxiety about getting it wrong. Beauty Therapy is CYAN's way of translating that anxiety into the language of design. Trained in clinical psychology and art therapy, our director begins — before any procedure — by listening to the impression you want to project, then designs around how color, symmetry, and proportion will be perceived by you and by others. What stays on the face is pigment, but what stays with people is the impression. That is why every session is designed to be, before it is a beauty treatment, an experience that rebuilds your confidence.
