First Visit Guide: From Arrival to Return
You've gone so far as to book a flight to get PMU in Korea — but you're worried, right? "Will I be understood when I arrive, is it okay to fly home right after?" The route is exactly what people coming from far away ask about most in consultations. So let me walk through in advance how it flows, from arrival to your flight home and even after you're back home. After reading, you'll feel a lot lighter, like "ah, so this is how it goes."
DAY 0 · Before departure — the design is set before you board
Do you know what people coming from far away fear most? "What if the design doesn't fit when I get there — I spent the time and money for nothing." That's completely understandable. So CYAN aligns the design direction before you board. With a face-reading report you see in advance which brows and lips will suit your face, and we run the consultation through to the end in English over LINE. No need to worry about a language barrier — you can ask and answer comfortably in your own language. Once we've locked in your procedure date and time as well, there's no scrambling once you land. Rather than arriving blank and consulting for the first time that day, think of it as "coming to finish what's already half-decided."
DAY 1 · Arrive in Seoul → straight to the procedure
Your arrival day has the tightest schedule. So we map the route as simply as possible. From the airport to the studio is about 30 minutes by taxi (so you don't have to worry about getting lost even if Seoul is new to you). On arrival we do an in-person consultation, again in English, so speak comfortably. We open the report you received in advance together to confirm the final design, look in the mirror together, and the procedure goes in exactly as the shape you agreed to with "let's go with this." The procedure itself usually takes 2–3 hours. When it's done, we explain how to spend the recovery period and send you to your hotel. If you worried "am I doing the procedure today and flying home tomorrow?" — we don't schedule it that tightly, so rest assured.
DAY 2 · Free day — you can heal while seeing Seoul
Many ask, "do I have to stay locked in the hotel the day after the procedure?" No — this is actually a day you can use freely. Brow and lip PMU isn't major surgery; it's a procedure placing color in the shallow layer of skin, so light sightseeing or shopping the next day is no problem. Around now the redness right after the procedure also starts to settle. It'd be a shame to stay only in the hotel after coming all the way to Korea. That said, it's good to avoid rubbing the treated area hard, or sweat-heavy places like saunas and jjimjilbang, for a few days. We give you these lifestyle precautions separately on DAY 1, so just follow them and enjoy Seoul.
DAY 3 · Progress check → flight home
To see your face once more before you board, please drop by the studio on the morning of your departure. The progress check is a light step that takes about 15 minutes. We check directly how the color is settling and whether healing is going well, and pack the aftercare kit for you to use back home. With this, you can keep up the same care in your home country. If you thought "isn't it over once the procedure's done?" — remember there's this step of one more check before you leave. The farther you're traveling, the more this final check matters.
After returning home · Distance grows, but we stay connected over LINE
This is the part people coming from far away worry about most. "Once I'm home, if anything happens, don't I have to handle it alone?" Not so. The true color settles not right after the procedure but after going through all the healing. So as not to leave you alone in that process, even after you return home we look at it together over LINE at each stage. On days 3–7, send progress photos and CYAN checks them directly and tells you whether it's a normal process now; around day 14 we do aftercare online once more; and on day 30 we make a final check of whether the final shape and color have settled. It's all in your language, so there's no getting stuck for words. Of course I can't see everything 100% from photos — so if you swell, hurt, or have anything concerning, I honestly tell you to also get seen at a local clinic. Diagnosis is the doctor's area, and CYAN's role is to read the healing flow alongside you. Even from far away, I'll make sure you feel "you're not alone" to the very end.
